CLUB RULES

1. All players must check in with the Pro Shop prior to going to the tee regardless of whether a cart rental is involved.
2.No starting on #10 without permission from the Pro Shop.
3.Local guests (residents of Shelby, Tipton, Fayette, Desoto, Tate, Tunica, Marshall or Crittenden counties) will not be allowed to play between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon on Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays EXCEPT by prior appointment. These appointments are limited to 10 local guests during the restricted time period per day. A member may call the Pro Shop up to one hour prior to play to obtain permission for the exception. A local guest cannot play during the restricted time period more than more than five times during a calendar year. This will be monitored by the Pro Shop and guests may be required to show photo identification with address to be allowed to play during the restricted time.
4.All members are responsible for guest conduct as well as payment of green fees, cart rentals and any other charges incurred during the guest's visit to the club. This includes any damages to the golf course, equipment or clubhouse property incurred during the guest's visit.
5.Proper attire must be worn at all times on the golf course. No muscle shirts, T-shirts with screen printing, halter tops, swimsuits, cut-offs, etc. Collarless shirts are allowed provided they are designed as golf attire. Shoes must be worn, only soft spike golf shoes, deck-type canvas shoes and smooth sole tennis shoes are allowed. This rule will be administered by the Pro Shop and their decision is final.
6.No singles or twosomes permitted on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays until after 12:00 noon or at the Pro's discretion. You must ask the Pro.
7.Each player must have their own clubs and bag.
8.Golf Etiquette. All players are expected to:
(a)Replace divots. Please use sand bottles located on each side of your golf cart.
(b)Repair ball marks. Repair yours and check for more.
(c)Rake sand traps. Leave rakes in bunkers (USGA recommendation).
(d)Allow faster groups or players to play through when hole in front of the slower group of players is open.
(e)Refrain from loud and abusive language on course, in clubhouse or clubhouse area.
(f)Leave the course in the condition in which you found it, or better.
(g)Please pick up all tees and broken pieces from the tee areas. These cause damage to our mowers and equipment.
(h)Please do not litter your course. Any paper, cups, wrappers, tobacco products, etc. should be placed in proper receptacles and not be left on the course or greens. Bottle caps are especially harmful to maintenance equipment . . . these must not be placed on the ground.
9.Ten minutes is allowed on the turn or you will lose your position and you must go back to the first tee or wait for a suitable break in groups making the turn. Allow the Pro Shop to help with this.
10.Riding carts, pull carts and electric golf caddies:
(a)Only two riders and two bags per cart.
(b)Personal carts are allowed to be used only in tournaments.
(c)Only licensed drivers will be allowed to drive carts. Members should not allow non-licensed drivers, including their children, to control a golf cart on the course or around the clubhouse area.
(d)Pull carts are not to be loaded onto or pulled behind or along side riding carts (includes electric golf caddies).
(e)Pull carts (includes electric golf caddies) are not to be pulled onto greens, including the fringe.
(f)Keep riding carts at least 50 feet from greens and tees (includes beside and behind the green).
(g)Keep riding carts off par three fairways (except #4).
(h)Keep riding carts out of wooded areas.
11.Practice Area
(a) Practice is restricted to driving range and practice putting and chipping greens.
(b) Personal practice balls are prohibited on driving range and chipping green or for practice anywhere else on the premises other than the practice putting green.
(c) Refrain from hitting balls on the driving range when players approach the practice area while playing #9. Do not hit practice balls from #1 tee or anywhere else on the course.
(d) No chipping around practice putting green.
12.There is no medical flag policy for riding carts in the summer (during daylight savings time).
13.Children under 15 are not allowed to play on Saturday, Sunday or Holidays until after 12:00 noon.
14.Infants and children under 12 years of age should not be left unattended in or around the clubhouse, on the golf course or in or on the golf carts.
15.No alcoholic beverages, liquor, beer, food, etc. are to be brought on the club property. This is in direct violation of the Mississippi State Law and could cause forfeiture of our liquor license.
16.Special Attention: Please observe the sign at #1 tee to see what the cart path policy is that particular day, or ask the Pro.
 90° Cart Path Policy: You may leave the cart path 90°, go directly to your ball, and then return directly to the cart path. Do not ride down the middle of the fairways or in the rough. The rough has no irrigation system!

17.

Clubhouse - The following rules apply inside the clubhouse and its adjacent outdoor areas:
 • Golf bags are not allowed in the clubhouse.
 • Proper attire must be worn at all times in the clubhouse. No swimming suits, etc., will be allowed in any part of the clubhouse.
 • Smoking of cigarettes and cigars is allowed only in the bar, the upstairs grill and the patio areas of the clubhouse. Smoking anywhere else, including hallways, Pro Shop and restrooms is prohibited.
 • Loud, boisterous talk and obscenities are not allowed in the clubhouse interior and adjacent areas. Common sense should be considered with regard to this rule.
 • Payment for goods and services will be the sole responsibility of the Member within the scope of the individual arrangements made with the department managers in the Pro Shop and Food & Beverage areas. The granting of any special payment arrangements other than cash is at the discretion of each individual department manager.

Violation of any rule may be subject to monetary fines and/or other remedies at the Board of Director's discretion.
