Director of Golf - Mark Melton
Mark Melton has been the Head Golf Pro at Olive Branch Country Club since 1989... longer than any pro at any other public, semi-private or private club in Desoto County. Mark has been a PGA of America Professional for almost 17 years. His passion for the game began when he was 10 years old and you can often find him on the practice tee with our younger golfers. A graduate of Memphis State University (now, The University of Memphis), Mark spent 12 years in the Food & Beverage business before making a career change. He spent about three years at Holiday Golf Club serving his PGA apprenticeship prior to moving to OBCC.

| Mark not only oversees the day-to-day golf operation, he is the sole proprietor of a full service and very reputable golf shop that carries the top brands of golf equipment, apparel and related merchandise. With the club's very active membership and tournament schedules, Mark sees almost 30,000 rounds of golf played each year. His ability to relate to the golfer, coupled with his years of experience, has enabled him to contribute a great deal to the overall success and continued growth of Olive Branch Country Club. |
